Seagate Media Sync is a free and cross-platform application that enables you to copy images, videos or music or documents between a device to the GoFlex Satellite or Seagate Wireless hard drives.

Note that an external drive must be connected to your computer before you can select the source folders used for Seagate Media Sync.

Moreover, folders on the destination drive do not need to be created. Seagate Media Sync creates the appropriate folders on the drive when you choose to synchronize your media files.

“I backup all my important data in Seagate FreeAgent Goflex external hard disk which has a capacity of 60GB. Today all of a sudden, this device is not getting detected on my Mac.
